Odessa Minerals Limited (ASX: $ODE) has completed an airborne gradiometer magnetic and radiometric survey over its Gascoyne East Project in Western Australia, identifying multiple major mantle-tapping structures and mineralisation targets. The survey covered the Company's +2,100 square kilometre tenement package and revealed strong prospectivity for various mineralisations, including Iron Oxide Copper-Gold (IOCG), Sedimentary Exhalative (SEDEX), sedimentary-hosted targets, intrusion/magmatic-related Cu-Ni-Co-PGE mineralisation, lode-gold mineralisation, and at-surface uranium radiometric anomalies.
David Lenigas, Executive Director of Odessa, expressed his satisfaction with the survey results, highlighting the emergence of multiple large-scale multi-commodity targets that will necessitate follow-up exploration and drill testing. He emphasized the ongoing magnetic inversion and structural modeling to enhance understanding of the anomalies and aid in target ranking. Lenigas also underscored the potential of the Gascoyne East Project as an exciting frontier for Odessa's exploration throughout 2024.
The completion of the airborne survey at the Gascoyne East Project has unveiled significant mineralisation targets, indicating a promising outlook for Odessa Minerals. The Company's focus on target ranking and immediate exploration, followed by subsequent drilling, reflects its commitment to capitalizing on the identified opportunities. The Project's unique geological setting, with multiple metal-rich structural events converging, presents a compelling case for further exploration. Odessa Minerals' ambitions for exploration throughout 2024 align with the potential of the Gascoyne East Project, positioning the Company for an active and promising year ahead.
