TG Metals Limited (TG Metals) (ASX: $TG6) has released an update on exploration drilling activities at the Burmeister prospect at the Lake Johnston Li-Ni-Au Project in Western Australia. The company has completed 2,848m of reverse circulation (RC) and 821m of diamond core drilling (DD) at the Burmeister lithium discovery, with the final assays confirming continued intersections of spodumene bearing pegmatites with high Li2O grades and widths up to 20 metres.
'These RC drilling results continue to add thick, high grade lithium mineralisation to the previously reported diamond drill results at Burmeister. It is pleasing that this program has confirmed the continuity of these pegmatites up dip and the mineralisation remains open. The next phase drilling at Burmeister is to infill to a closer spaced pattern as we progress to defining a maiden resource, which will demonstrate the scale and quality of the Burmeister spodumene pegmatites. In the meantime we are ensuring all the approvals are completed at several other high priority drill targets both at Jaegermeister and further south along the greenstone belt at Tay. We feel there is a real opportunity to make further discoveries as we progressively test the 50km of greenstone belt within our project area.'
TG Metals has reported further high grade lithium drilling results at the Burmeister prospect, confirming thick lithium mineralisation with high grades. The company plans to proceed with infill and extension drilling at Burmeister, aiming to define a maiden resource that demonstrates the scale and quality of the spodumene pegmatites. Additionally, TG Metals is preparing for infill soil geochemistry results for the Jaegermeister Prospect and is evaluating other high priority drill targets in the project area. The company has refined its assay method to the Fusion (FUS) method for assaying RC and DD samples going forward. TG Metals remains focused on exploring for lithium, nickel, and gold at its Lake Johnston Project in Western Australia, with a commitment to providing accurate and reliable exploration results.
