Albion Resources Limited (ASX: $ALB) has released the results of new soil assays from its 100% owned Leinster Project in Western Australia. The assay results for 129 new soil samples have refined 5 large, strongly elevated PGM and other nickel fertility ratios indicative of Ni-Cu-PGM sulphide deposits. The priority anomalies are now being considered for follow-up EM geophysics.
The newly defined consistent and coherent Ni-Cu-PGM anomalies strongly support the potential for Ni-Cu-PGM discoveries on the project, warranting further work. The company will evaluate the previous drilling data in comparison to the newly refined soil anomalies to determine the adequacy of drill testing. Once this review is complete, the company will consider the most appropriate electromagnetic (EM) geophysical method to identify bedrock conductors to advance targets toward drill testing.
Albion Resources' new soil assay results from the Leinster Project have revealed 5 coherent Ni-Cu-PGM anomalies, indicating the potential for significant discoveries. The company plans to evaluate the previous drilling data in comparison to the newly refined soil anomalies to determine the adequacy of drill testing. Subsequently, the company aims to employ electromagnetic (EM) geophysical methods to identify bedrock conductors and advance targets toward drill testing. The findings suggest promising prospects for Ni-Cu-PGM deposits, reflecting the company's commitment to exploration and potential future developments in the region.
