Argent Minerals Limited (ASX: $ARD) has commenced a 1,200 metre RC drilling program at the Kempfield Deposit in New South Wales. The objective of the program is to expand the current resource footprint along known barite extensions from the Lode 200 mineralised zone. The drilling campaign, estimated to be completed within 3 weeks, will focus on testing unexplored zones outside the current resource area.
Argent Minerals Limited Managing Director Mr Kastellorizos expressed, 'Argent is pleased to announce that we have received NSW Regulator approval for an RC drilling campaign over Argent's Flagship Project, Kempfield Deposit in NSW. The project area has delineated significant walk-up drill targets yet to be systematically drill tested from previous ground exploration programs. Based on structural, geological, geochemical, and historical drilled mineralised intersections, Argent has identified several untested zones which have excellent potential to host gold, silver and base metal mineralisation.'
