Kincora Copper Limited (ASX: $KCC) has announced that its exploration alliance partner, Earth AI Pty Ltd, has initiated its first drilling program at the Cundumbul Project. The program, approved by the Resource Regulator (NSW Government), involves up to 1800m of diamond core drilling, with the initial phase expected to run for 1-2 months and be solely funded by Earth AI. The project aims to test a 2.2km X 800m zone of anomalous surface copper associated with a zoned hydrothermal quartz breccia system.
Sam Spring, President & CEO of Kincora Copper, expressed excitement about the commencement of the diamond drilling program by Earth AI. He highlighted the significance of this program in the success-based exploration alliance, providing shareholders exposure to a fully funded, new discovery-focused opportunity. Spring emphasized the potential of the newly identified zoned mineralized hydrothermal quartz breccia system in the previously untested central eastern portion of the project, which is the focus of the initial drill targets.
The partnership between Kincora Copper and Earth AI has led to the initiation of a significant drilling program at the Cundumbul Project, targeting new copper prospects. The use of artificial intelligence and field-based exploration has identified promising intrusion-related copper targets, with the initial drilling program focusing on a 2.2km X 800m zone of anomalous surface copper. The project's location in the world-class Molong belt of the Macquarie Arc, coupled with the ongoing field activities and planning for follow-up drilling, underscores the company's commitment to exploration and potential future discoveries. The success-based nature of the alliance, with Kincora retaining 100% project ownership, provides an optimistic outlook for the company's exploration endeavors.
