Si6 Metals Limited (Si6, ASX: $SI6) has successfully completed the auger drilling programme at the Poços de Caldas Alkaline Complex and in the Lithium Valley in Brazil. The company reported encouraging rare earth elements (REE) and lithium results from the completed drilling campaigns. The auger programme in Poços de Caldas continued to return high-grade REE figures, with significant potential for mineralisation extension into the clay-rich saprolite. Additionally, a large 3km X 800m pegmatite corridor was discovered at the Padre ParaÃso target in the Lithium Valley, with anomalous lithium auger intercepts up to 401 ppm Li. Further assay results from the auger programme in Poços de Caldas and the soil grid programme over the pegmatite corridor in Padre ParaÃso are pending at SGS.
Chairman, Mr Ian Kiers, expressed satisfaction with the completion of the auger drill program in Brazil, highlighting the high-grade REE mineralisation at the Caldas joint venture prospect. He emphasized the positive results from the drilling, indicating the potential extension of mineralised zones at depth. Mr Kiers also mentioned the focus on the soil program completed over the extensive 3km pegmatite located at the Padre ParaÃso target in the Lithium Valley, underscoring its significant potential. The company aims to keep shareholders informed as the results become available.
Si6 Metals has made a promising REE discovery in the Pocos de Caldas, along with the potential large-scale lithium-hosting pegmatite corridor in the Lithium Valley. The company also highlighted another large 26km anomalous radiometric strike potential REE-prospective project at the recently secured 300km2 Pimenta Project in eastern Minas Gerais. The completion of the soil grid programme over the pegmatite corridor in Padre ParaÃso and the pending assay results are expected to provide further insights into the potential of these projects. Si6 Metals continues to evaluate opportunities with the Monument JORC (2012) Inferred Mineral Resource Estimate of 154koz gold project in Western Australia and its Botswana portfolio of high-grade copper-silver and nickel package. The company's exploration activities and focus on critical metals and minerals position it for potential growth and development in the sector.
