Eagle Mountain Mining Limited (ASX: $EM2) is pleased to announce the confirmation of large high-priority porphyry-style targets beneath tertiary cover at its 100% owned Silver Mountain Project in Arizona, USA. The targets, with a modelled strike length of approximately 2 kilometres and a depth to top of approximately 300 metres, were defined through a recently completed 3D seismic survey using Fleet Space's ExoSphere solution. The structural setting and surface mapping align with other major porphyry deposits in Arizona, positioning Silver Mountain as a top priority for exploration activities.
The recent 3D seismic survey at our Silver Mountain Project has been a resounding success, significantly enhancing our geological understanding and propelling the project to a top priority for exploration activities. While historical indicators suggested the potential for large mineralised systems at Silver Mountain, younger rock cover hampered our ability to pinpoint deeper targets. The new seismic data has effectively unlocked this geological potential. These new findings highlight an unexplored, western target zone, well beyond the past exploration efforts that were focussed on the eastern volcanogenic massive sulphide horizon. The Silver Mountain property is exceeding expectations and has solidified its place in our exploration strategy moving forward.
The confirmation of large porphyry-style targets at Silver Mountain Project marks a significant milestone for Eagle Mountain Mining. The company's strategic exploration and development efforts in Arizona have been bolstered by the successful 3D seismic survey, which has unveiled unexplored target zones and enhanced the geological understanding of the project. Looking ahead, the company plans to refine existing porphyry-style targets for drilling, conduct geochemical analysis, age dating, and petrographic analysis to further advance the project. Additionally, the strategic review of the Oracle Ridge Project aims to maximize shareholder value, with the scoping study progressing concurrently. The potential restart of Grupo Mexico's Hayden copper smelter presents a strategic opportunity for future processing of concentrate from the Oracle Ridge Project. Eagle Mountain Mining remains committed to leveraging its expertise and resources to unlock the full potential of its projects and deliver value to its stakeholders.
