Strickland Metals Limited (ASX:STK) has reported ongoing high-grade gold mineralisation at the Warmblood and Palomino Gold Deposits in its 100%-owned Horse Well Gold Camp in Western Australia. The company's exploration activities have revealed significant extensions of high-grade gold mineralisation, with the Warmblood Deposit showing a 170-metre down-plunge extension and the Palomino Deposit extending 150 metres along strike. The results indicate the potential emergence of a large gold deposit at Horsewell, as stated by Paul L'Herpiniere, Managing Director of Strickland.
These results are very significant, not simply because they are strong intersections in their own right but also because of what they are telling us about the Horsewell camp as a whole. The company has recently made significant progress in understanding the geology of this well mineralised area and, most importantly, now has a clear understanding of the major camp-scale controls on gold mineralisation. It is exciting to see the interconnected nature of these ore-controlling structures, which is giving us confidence that potentially a very large gold deposit may be emerging at Horsewell. The combined effects of very deep weathering and historically shallow drilling have concealed the magnitude of this opportunity until now. However, the Company's current program of deeper drilling is now confirming multiple high-grade mineralised shoots open at depth.
Strickland Metals Limited (ASX:STK) has reported significant extensions of high-grade gold mineralisation at the Warmblood and Palomino Gold Deposits in its Horse Well Gold Camp. The results indicate the potential emergence of a large gold deposit at Horsewell, with high-grade mineralisation remaining open at depth and along strike. The ongoing exploration activities, including RC and diamond drilling, aim to further define the high-grade primary mineralisation and test the depth potential. The company's Managing Director, Paul L'Herpiniere, expressed confidence in the interconnected nature of the ore-controlling structures, highlighting the potential for a very large gold deposit at Horsewell. Strickland Metals' deeper drilling program is confirming multiple high-grade mineralised shoots open at depth, revealing the concealed magnitude of this opportunity. The company's exploration efforts continue to unveil the significant potential of the Horse Well Gold Camp.
