Brightstar Resources Limited (ASX:BTR) has released the remaining assay results from the ~8,000m Lord Byron infill RC drilling program at the Jasper Hills Gold Project. The results revealed wide zones of gold mineralisation containing internal sections of high-grade, with intercepts returning promising results at Lord Byron.
Brightstar's Managing Director, Alex Rovira, expressed excitement over the new Lord Byron assays, highlighting the wide intervals of open pit mineable gold grades and discrete zones of high-grade, including at the base of a A$3,000/oz Au optimised pit shell. These results will contribute to updated development studies at the deposit, as outlined in the recent Jasper Hills Scoping Study. With the completion of RC programs at Fish and Lord Byron, attention will now shift to geotechnical and metallurgical testwork utilizing the diamond core material produced from the drilling program.
