Austal Limited (ASX:ASB) Awarded US Navy Contract
Austal Limited (ASX:ASB) has been awarded a US$152 million contract by the U.S. Navy to invest in infrastructure supporting the annual delivery of one Columbia-class (CLB) and two Virginia-class (VCS) submarines. The contract enables Austal USA to partner with the United Submarine Alliance (USA) Qualified Opportunity Fund to enhance the U.S. submarine industrial base's production capacity.
