Kalgoorlie Gold Mining (ASX:KAL) has started a high-resolution aeromagnetic geophysical survey over the northern parts of the Pinjin Project. The survey aims to provide detailed aeromagnetic data over the Jungle Dam area and lateral extension of the Edjudina Goldfield in the north of KalGold's 100%-owned E31/1119. On-site data acquisition will be completed by the end of the month, and the new survey data will be integrated with regional geophysical datasets to ensure high resolution coverage of the entire Pinjin Project area.
The new high-resolution aeromagnetic survey at the Pinjin Project marks a significant step in our exploration efforts. We are confident that the detailed aeromagnetic data will help us define precise gold targets in the project area, particularly at the Jungle Dam prospect. This survey is crucial in uncovering potential gold mineralisation sites that have been overlooked due to a blanket of transported cover. We are committed to accelerating work programs across the project area, with upcoming aircore drill programs and a focus on fulfilling our obligations for the Pinjin Farm-in.
