Lunnon Metals Limited (ASX:LM8) has reported the identification of a new gold zone with multiple high-grade intercepts at the Lady Herial prospect, part of its Kambalda Gold & Nickel Project (KGNP). The best result received to date is 23 metres at 16.61g/t Au at surface, indicating significant, near-surface, high-grade intercepts from the current diamond drill (DD) and in-fill reverse circulation (RC) program.
New opportunities continue to emerge at Lady Herial, with the identification of new mineralised zones and high-grade gold intercepts. The goal is to define all near-surface gold mineralisation quickly for open pit evaluation. Follow-up drilling at depth and along strike will be necessary to understand the ultimate potential of the multiple parallel structures found at Lady Herial.
Lunnon Metals' progress in identifying a new gold zone with high-grade intercepts at the Lady Herial prospect is a significant development in its gold exploration at the Kambalda Gold & Nickel Project. The company aims to define shallow, high-grade mineralisation capable of being rapidly drilled, modelled, and potentially commercialised. With the potential for an initial Mineral Resource report upon completion of geological modelling and open pit optimisations, the company's strategic objectives for gold exploration are well underway. Leveraging existing infrastructure and strong cash balance, Lunnon Metals is focused on pursuing tier 1 deposits in one of Australia's most prolific gold belts.
