Golden Mile Resources Limited (ASX:G88) has reported exceptional rock chip assay results from the Odyssey Prospect, part of the Pearl Copper Project in Arizona, USA. The recent rock chip sampling has revealed high-grade silver, copper, and zinc mineralisation, with significant assay highlights including up to 930 g/t Ag, 10.05% Cu, and 8.09% Zn. The mineralisation at the Odyssey Prospect, visible at the surface with a strike length of over 800m, has expanded the prospectivity of the Project for multi-element epithermal mineralisation.
Golden Mile's Managing Director Damon Dormer expressed excitement over the results, stating, 'These results - with exceptional high grades of copper, silver and zinc not only broadens the mineralisation potential of the Odyssey Prospect but also provides increased confidence for additional prospects within the Pearl Project area. By any measure these are exciting results and will provide numerous targets for our maiden drilling program.'
The rock chip sampling at the Odyssey Prospect has unveiled significant grades of silver, copper, and zinc, indicating the potential for polymetallic epithermal mineralisation at the Pearl Copper Project. The Company is actively advancing its maiden drilling program for the Odyssey Prospect and is working through the government approval process for the associated land clearing permits. Furthermore, the Project's strategic location in Arizona, a Tier 1 mining jurisdiction and a top copper producing state in the USA, enhances its attractiveness for further exploration and development. With the presence of visible copper minerals and broader mineralisation potential, Golden Mile Resources is poised to capitalize on the promising results and aims to identify further polymetallic anomalies through detailed geological and structural mapping programs.
