Mantle Minerals Limited (ASX:MTL) has announced the commencement of deep reverse circulation (RC) drilling at Roberts Hill and Mount Berghaus. The company will drill eleven holes up to 280m deep to test gold mineralisation from earlier aircore drilling results, with results expected in November 2024.
The RC drilling program at Mount Berghaus and Roberts Hill marks an important step in our exploration efforts. We are utilizing the same discovery method as De Grey Mining Limited (ASX:DEG) to test for 'Hemi-Style' intrusive systems below oxidised aircore gold intersections from aircore drilling. This approach has been successful in the area, and we are optimistic about the potential for significant gold mineralisation in the fresh basement rocks below the oxidized zone. We look forward to the results of the RC drilling program in November 2024.
