The development of a composite anode combining silicon particles with graphite has addressed traditional issues such as particle swelling and capacity loss. Following a successful Definitive Feasibility Study for an 8,000tpa plant in Saxony, Germany, the company plans to scale up operations with a pilot plant. Altech aims to target the European electric vehicle market and is progressing towards commercializing its technology, backed by strategic partnerships and green accreditation.
