The exploration unveiled high-grade silver-gold-base metal mineralization at shallow depths, with a diamond drilling program completed and results expected by November 2024. The project has also identified potential new copper zones.
Australian Gold and Copper (ASX:AGC) has achieved significant results from its drilling at the Achilles project. The discovery of high-grade mineralization at shallow depths includes notable results like 12m at 2.2g/t gold and 113g/t silver from 86m. A new copper trend was identified 600m northwest of Achilles. A 10-hole diamond drilling program is complete, with results anticipated in November 2024. The exploration program has extended mineralization over a 650m strike length and plans to target the 5km Achilles Shear Zone. Future activities include core processing, 3D modeling, and further drilling. These findings enhance the potential for resource growth at the Achilles project, strengthening AGC's asset portfolio.
