Killi Resources (ASX:KLI) has reported encouraging initial results from its first drilling campaign at the Mt Rawdon West Project in Queensland. The results have confirmed the presence of a significant gold-copper-silver mineralised system at the Kaa prospect, with the first three diamond drill holes showing substantial mineralisation over a 1-kilometer area. The mineralisation remains open in all directions.
Killi Resources' initial drilling at the Mt Rawdon West Project has revealed a large-scale mineralised system at the Kaa prospect. The drilling confirmed the presence of a significant gold-copper-silver system, with strong zones of alteration and veining suggesting a large epithermal system. Notable assay results from the first three diamond drill holes include high-grade intersections of gold, copper, and silver. These findings point to a 1.8-kilometer long trend of mineralisation, which increases toward the south-eastern end. Pending assays for the remaining three holes are expected in November, which will guide the next phase of exploration. The company plans further drilling at both the Kaa and Baloo prospects and has completed an IP survey at the Baloo target. Killi Resources remains focused on discovering large-scale mineral deposits in underexplored regions, with the Mt Rawdon West Project being a key strategic asset near established mining operations.
CEO Kathryn Cutler expressed optimism about the initial findings and the potential of unlocking a major mineral system at the Kaa prospect.
