Key findings from channel sampling
Mithril Silver and Gold (ASX:MTH) has announced promising results from its channel sampling at the Target 1 area within the Copalquin District project in Mexico. The samples revealed significant grades of gold and silver, including up to 736 g/t silver and 8.99 g/t gold. This project is situated in a historically rich mining district, featuring over 100 historic underground mines.
Project overview and future plans
Mithril Silver and Gold has highlighted the potential of the Copalquin District, located within the Sierra Madre Gold-Silver Trend, which is known for hosting world-class deposits. The district has shown potential to host significant quantities of gold and silver, with ongoing mapping and sampling in adjacent areas. Mithril plans to continue exploration with scheduled programs for high-priority drill target areas. The company is committed to supporting local communities and aims to double the resource at Target 1, emphasizing the strategic importance of the Copalquin project.

The channel sampling results are particularly encouraging from the Lumbrera Vein, Soledad Levels 1 and 2, and El Cometa underground workings. These results provide crucial data for ongoing geologic and resource modeling efforts.
