Dreadnought Resources (ASX:DRE) has been awarded a co-funded diamond drilling grant of up to $180,000 under the Western Australian Government's Exploration Incentive Scheme. This grant will support drilling at the Stinger Niobium Discovery within the Mangaroon Critical Metals Project, marking the third EIS grant for the company this year.
Dreadnought Resources' receipt of the EIS grant underscores its strategic focus on developing the Mangaroon Critical Metals Project. The grant supports drilling at the Stinger Niobium Discovery, part of the Gifford Creek Carbonatite, a globally significant critical minerals complex. The Mangaroon project is 100% owned by Dreadnought and is located in Western Australia's Gascoyne Region. It is prospective for several critical minerals, including niobium, rare earths, scandium, titanium, and phosphorus. The global demand for these minerals is increasing due to their vital applications in various sectors. Dreadnought is poised to advance its project development with upcoming survey results and an initial mineral resource estimate for the Star of Mangaroon expected in November. The company remains focused on exploring and capitalizing on the potential of its diverse project portfolio.
This is the third EIS grant we have received this year, highlighting the significant potential of the Mangaroon Critical Metals Project. The grant will be used to drill two deep diamond drill holes at the Stinger Niobium Discovery to assess both supergene oxide and fresh bedrock mineralization, which is crucial for evaluating the Gifford Creek Carbonatite.
