The completion of the 2,416-meter reverse circulation drilling program at the Gilberton Gold Project marks a significant step for ActivEX in its quest to define a maiden JORC compliant gold resource. The project, located in northeast Queensland, covers a vast area of 370 square kilometers, with the Mt Hogan site being a focal point due to its historical gold production. With plans for further HQ core drilling in early 2025, ActivEX is committed to exploring additional historic mining operations and enhancing the site's gold potential. The company aims to deliver value to shareholders while ensuring sustainable and positive impacts on local communities. Compliance with the 2012 JORC Code and the involvement of competent persons like Mr. Mark Derriman and Mr. Xusheng Ke underpin the credibility of the exploration results.
The RC drilling program consisted of angled holes designed to investigate auriferous lodes that dip to the southwest at about 20 degrees. The drilling will assist in metallurgical test work, specific gravity measurements, and structural studies.
