FlexiRoam's Leadership Announcement
FlexiRoam (ASX:FRX) has announced the resignation of its Executive Chairman and Interim CEO, Steve Picton, effective 7th December 2024. Citing health concerns as the reason for his departure, Mr. Picton will be succeeded by Jefrey Ong, the company's Founder and Non-Executive Director, as the Interim CEO.
FlexiRoam's Strategic Transition and Future Plans
FlexiRoam Limited is experiencing a significant leadership change with the resignation of Mr. Steve Picton due to health concerns. His leadership was pivotal in completing a transformation strategy and expanding the company's market reach. Jefrey Ong, the Founder and Non-Executive Director, will serve as Interim CEO from 7th December 2024. During this transition, the company aims to maintain its growth momentum and is actively searching for a permanent CEO. FlexiRoam remains committed to enhancing global connectivity for travelers, leveraging its extensive network across over 520 operators in more than 200 countries.
Executive Commentary on Leadership Transition
I am proud of the progress we have made at FlexiRoam, particularly in achieving commercial growth and expanding into new travel partners for our embedded connectivity solutions. I am confident in Jef Ong's leadership as he assumes the role of Interim CEO.
