Copper discovery in Peru
Solis Minerals (ASX:SLM), a copper-gold exploration company, has announced the discovery of copper oxide mineralization at its Canyon Project in Peru. Reconnaissance sampling confirmed copper occurrences over a 400-meter stretch. Two rock grab samples showed significant copper and molybdenum assays.
Exploration plans and future outlook
Solis Minerals has identified promising copper oxide mineralization at the Canyon Project in Peru. With assays indicating porphyry-style mineralization, the company plans further remote sensing, mapping, and rock geochemistry exploration over a 25 km strike length. Solis aims to advance its exploration targets, with drilling scheduled for early 2025. The company's broader strategy includes multiple projects in the Coastal Belt of Peru, leveraging significant experience in South America's mining sector.
