Australian Gold and Copper (ASX:AGC) has released promising results from its initial diamond core drilling at the Achilles discovery in the South Cobar Basin, NSW. The results confirm significant silver-dominant high-grade mineralization potential. AGC is focused on defining and expanding this shallow mineralization.
Australian Gold and Copper (ASX:AGC) has found encouraging results from its first two diamond core holes at the Achilles discovery, indicating a significant silver-dominant mineralization. These findings are part of a larger ten-hole drilling program designed to better understand the structural controls and geometry of high-grade zones. AGC plans further exploration through a drone magnetic survey and a systematic air core drill program. The company aims to expand its understanding of the Achilles deposit and increase its discovery potential in the South Cobar Basin. Additional results from the remaining eight holes are expected soon.
We are highly encouraged by these initial results which demonstrate the potential of the Achilles discovery as a major silver-dominant find. Our ongoing efforts aim to enhance drill targeting through insights gained from these diamond drilling activities. We plan to conduct a drone magnetic survey and a systematic air core drill program to further explore near-surface mineralization.
