Perpetual Resources (ASX:PEC) has announced substantial findings from its maiden exploration program at the Isabella Lithium Project in Brazil's 'Lithium Valley'. High-grade rock chip assays confirm significant spodumene-lithium mineralisation, with lithium oxide percentages exceeding 5%. The project exhibits potential for a mineralised corridor up to 3 km long, with plans for a maiden drilling campaign in early 2025.
Perpetual Resources has identified high-grade lithium mineralisation at the Isabella Project, with promising assays indicating lithium oxide percentages over 5%. Located in Minas Gerais, Brazil, the site is part of the resource-rich 'Lithium Valley'. The initial exploration included 35 samples, with more results pending. The company plans further exploration and a drilling campaign by the first half of 2025. With approximately 12,500 hectares of exploration permits, Perpetual aims to develop critical mineral resources, focusing on lithium and rare earth elements. The strategic location near major spodumene projects enhances development prospects. Perpetual is working on obtaining environmental and regulatory permits, with support from local agencies, to advance its exploration activities.
These results demonstrate the potential of the Isabella Project to host significant lithium mineralisation, which is encouraging for our exploration and development strategy. We are particularly pleased with the high-grade results exceeding 5% Li2O, which highlight the prospectivity of the project area. Our ongoing efforts in Brazil's 'Lithium Valley' are aligned with our strategy to become a leading lithium producer.
