Boss Energy (ASX:BOE) has successfully completed an infill drilling campaign at the Gould's Dam and Jason's satellite deposits, part of the Honeymoon Uranium Project in South Australia. This initiative is aimed at updating resource models to integrate these deposits into the mine plan, potentially enhancing production and mine life.
Boss Energy has completed an extensive infill drilling program at Gould's Dam and Jason's satellite deposits to support a future resource update and integrate these deposits into the Honeymoon Uranium Project. The campaign included 72 holes, gathering vital geophysical data to refine geological models. Currently, the combined resources of these deposits stand at 36.7Mlbs of contained U308. The company seeks to enhance production capacity and mine life by updating these resource estimates and obtaining necessary government approvals. Boss Energy's strategic focus is on leveraging the existing infrastructure to meet the rising global uranium demand. Looking ahead, the company plans to update mineral resource models by the first half of 2025, with further development activities and mining lease applications underway.
Boss Energy is making significant strides with the successful completion of our infill drilling campaign at Gould's Dam and Jason's deposits. This is a critical step in our strategy to update the geological and mineralization models, which will underpin a resource update and potentially increase the annual production rate and mine life of the Honeymoon project. The quality data collected will assist in determining the economic viability of these deposits, and we are preparing to seek government endorsement to mine these areas, effectively doubling our current Mining Licence capacity. This progress aligns with our ambition to leverage existing infrastructure and respond to the growing global demand for uranium.
