Pinnacle Investment Management (ASX:PNI) has unveiled plans to acquire stakes in VSS Capital Partners and Pacific Asset Management. The move involves investing approximately $143 million AUD to enhance its presence in global markets. Pinnacle is also conducting an equity raise to fund these strategic investments.

By acquiring a 22.5% stake in VSS and a 25% stake in PAM, Pinnacle is set to expand its reach in the US and UK markets. These investments align with Pinnacle's strategy to increase its exposure to global private assets and diversify its asset classes and geographical presence. To support these initiatives, Pinnacle is conducting a $400 million AUD equity raise, alongside a $25 million AUD Share Purchase Plan for shareholders. The funds will also be used to seed new strategies and support growth initiatives. Pinnacle's strategic moves are expected to be earnings per share accretive on a pro-forma FY25F NPAT basis, reflecting the company's commitment to leveraging its distribution network and accelerating growth.
