Riversgold (ASX:RGL) has reported promising high-grade gold assay results from its Northern Zone Project, located 25km east of Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. The company's fourth aircore drilling program has confirmed significant shallow gold mineralization within a 600m wide porphyry system. Notable intercepts include 8 meters at 4.86 grams per tonne gold from 34 meters, with sections showing even higher concentrations.
Riversgold's recent assay results from the Northern Zone Project highlight significant high-grade gold mineralization, enhancing the project's potential near Kalgoorlie. The results have identified notable intercepts, expanding the high-grade oxide zone and prompting updates to the geological model. Riversgold plans to submit a mineralisation report and a Mining Lease application, indicating a strategic move towards potential mining operations. These developments could bolster Riversgold's market position and attract investment, as the company continues to explore the potential of its gold assets in Western Australia.
These latest results from the Northern Zone Project are very encouraging, particularly the high-grade intercepts which give us confidence in the continuity and potential of this deposit. We are looking forward to updating our Leapfrog gold model and progressing towards a Mining Lease application.
