New Age Exploration (ASX:NAE) has announced significant results from its Phase 2 air core drilling at the Wagyu Gold Project. The results reveal multiple noteworthy gold intercepts, indicating substantial gold potential. A total of 101 air core drill holes were completed, and four new significant gold intercepts were discovered. These findings build on the promising results of Phase 1, further validating the project's potential.
New Age Exploration (ASX:NAE) has successfully identified multiple new gold intercepts at the Wagyu Gold Project, validating its potential and aligning with the mineralized trend of De Grey Mining's Hemi Gold deposit. Significant mineralization has been confirmed, with plans for further exploration including a Reverse Circulation (RC) drilling program funded by a $1.75 million raise. The company's strategic focus remains on uncovering a 'Hemi Style' gold system, with future steps including Cultural Heritage Surveys and deeper drilling to further explore the project's potential. This proactive approach underscores NAE's ambition to enhance the project's value and its commitment to gold exploration within the Pilbara region.
The assays from this phase have reinforced the gold potential of Wagyu, showing multiple significant gold intercepts. The geophysical and geological insights gained, including the identification of a 'sickle-shaped' zone of gold mineralization, extend over 800 meters and confirm gold mineralization across all high-priority geophysical gravity targets on the east side of the project. Cultural Heritage Surveys are planned to expand exploration areas, and the raised $1.75m will support a planned RC drilling program to test gold mineralization at depth.
