Koba Resources (ASX:KOB) has announced significant high-grade uranium mineralization from its initial drilling at the Berber and Chivas Prospects in the Yarramba Uranium Project, South Australia. The results showcase the potential for resource growth, with notable mineralization at both sites.
Koba Resources has reported encouraging results from its drilling activities at the Berber and Chivas Prospects within the Yarramba Uranium Project. The Berber Prospect shows high-grade mineralization extending over 700 meters, open in all directions, while Chivas remains open and undrilled to the east. With over 9,015 meters drilled in 90 holes, Koba is advancing its exploration efforts with further drilling planned in early 2025 to expand these mineralizations. The company is also conducting a passive seismic survey at the Mt John Prospect to refine future drill targets. Koba's strategic focus on the 5,000 km² Yarramba Project aims at unlocking its extensive potential in a world-class uranium district.
Koba’s Managing Director, Ben Vallerine, expressed optimism about the potential resource growth through these discoveries. The company sees considerable opportunity to delineate high-grade resources and expand its resource base.
