Alara Resources reaches milestone in copper-gold shipments

Alara Resources (ASX:AUQ) has announced the successful dispatch of its eighth shipment of copper-gold concentrate. The shipment, totaling 1263.5 Wet Metric Tons (WMT), includes approximately 194 Metric Tons (MT) of copper and 6 kilograms of gold. It has been sent from Sohar Port in Oman to China. This marks a significant milestone for the company, highlighting the improved efficiency and output of the Al Wash-hi Majaza mine and processing plant.

The shipment includes 1263.5 WMT of concentrate, with substantial quantities of copper and gold. This achievement underscores the company's operational improvements, as the shipping cycle has been shortened to under two weeks, and the quality of copper concentrate continues to improve. Alara Resources holds a 51% stake in the project through a joint venture with Hadeetha Resources LLC and is actively involved in exploration activities in Oman. The company aims to become a mid-tier minerals producer, focusing on sustainable growth and delivering value to shareholders.
