Alicanto Minerals Ltd (ASX: $AQI) has reported successful results of follow-up drilling at the high-priority Skyttgruvan-Naverberg target at its Falun Project in Sweden. The drilling intersected visual mineralisation and identified a high-priority in-hole conductor for immediate drill testing, significantly increasing the interpreted size of the system. The mineralisation was found 120m north of previously reported zones of semi-massive to disseminated sulphides, and the drill hole has been dispatched for assaying with imminent results expected.
These results are important for two reasons: they extend the interpreted size of the Skyttgruvan-Naverberg system and they support Alicanto's view of the strong potential for repeats of the rich Falun system along the 10km mineralised horizon contained on Alicanto's permits.
Alicanto Minerals' successful follow-up drilling at the Skyttgruvan-Naverberg target has provided strong evidence of mineralisation and significantly expanded the interpreted size of the system. The discovery of an in-hole conductor and the identification of visual mineralisation indicate a continuation of the system to the north, offering potential for a larger deposit. The company's ambitions to explore the 10km mineralised horizon and its emphasis on ongoing drilling reflect its strategy of creating shareholder value by discovering, growing, and developing precious and base metal resources in Sweden's mining region of Bergslagen. With imminent assay results and ongoing exploration, Alicanto Minerals remains focused on its pursuit of aggressive exploration campaigns and the identification of high-grade silver extensions, further underpinning its commitment to exploration success and shareholder value creation.
