Altech Batteries Limited has requested a trading halt as it prepares to make an important announcement about capital raising. This initiative is expected to support its ambitious projects, including the CERENERGY® Sodium Chloride Solid State Battery and Silumina Anodes™ Battery Materials projects. These projects aim to introduce safer and more sustainable alternatives to traditional batteries. The CERENERGY® project involves a joint venture to commercialize sodium chloride solid state batteries, with a facility planned in Germany. The Silumina Anodes™ project focuses on silicon alumina coating technology for the European EV market. Altech has completed a feasibility study for the Silumina Anodes™ and is constructing a pilot plant. The company has received green accreditation and is collaborating with industry partners. With these strategic steps, Altech is positioning itself as a leader in the innovative battery technology sector.
