Amaero International (ASX:3DA) has announced a significant expansion in its manufacturing capabilities. The company plans to acquire a third EIGA Premium atomizer, enhancing its facility in Tennessee, USA. This move is part of a broader strategy to increase production of high-value powders for industries such as defense and aerospace.
Amaero International has entered into a contract to purchase a third EIGA Premium atomizer, aiming to bolster its manufacturing capabilities. The scheduled commissioning of the second atomizer by June 2025 and the third by June 2026 will significantly enhance the company's production capacity. Each atomizer is designed to produce approximately 200 metric tonnes of high-value powders annually, with improved Argon efficiency. With a capital investment of A$71 million, Amaero seeks to become the leading U.S. domestic manufacturer of critical industry powders. This strategic move is expected to provide a first-mover advantage and strengthen the defense and aerospace supply chains.
