AML3D (ASX:AL3), a leader in metal additive manufacturing, has landed a major contract worth around AUD 2.27 million with the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA), the largest public utility in the US. This deal involves providing a large-scale ARCEMY® X system to enhance TVA's power generation repair capabilities.
AML3D has achieved a milestone with its contract with the Tennessee Valley Authority, marking an entry into the US utilities sector. This move is a part of AML3D's US Scale Up strategy, which began in February 2023 and has already secured AUD 14 million in contracts, primarily in the defense sector. The contract includes a service and maintenance agreement, with potential extensions, highlighting AML3D's ambition to expand further into aerospace, oil & gas, and marine markets in the US. The company's use of patented Wire Additive Manufacturing (WAM®) technology aims to deliver superior quality and efficiency, positioning AML3D as a competitive player in large format manufacturing.
We are thrilled to secure this contract with TVA, as it represents a significant step in our US expansion and strategic growth into the utilities sector. Our ARCEMY® X system's selection through a competitive tender process underscores its capability and aligns with our broader goals of penetrating the US aerospace, oil & gas, and marine industries.
