Anson Resources Limited (ASX: $ASN) has announced the successful assay results from the recently completed Bosydaba#1 well at its Green River Lithium Project in south-eastern Utah, USA. The results revealed lithium grades up to 139ppm and 4,604ppm bromine through the thick Mississippian units, confirming the presence of a lithium and bromine rich brine aquifer. The company is pleased with the confirmation of the massive, supersaturated brine aquifer and the lower salt concentrations, which are beneficial to the proposed lithium extraction process.
The lithium and bromine assay results from the Bosydaba#1 well are highly encouraging for Anson Resources. The confirmation of the lithium and bromine rich brine aquifer, along with the lower salt concentrations, aligns with our expectations and bodes well for the proposed lithium extraction process. The availability of fresh brine from the Bosydaba#1 well will enable more accurate test results for the production flow sheet design and larger amounts of battery grade material for testing by offtake partners. These results significantly exceed the initial Exploration Target Calculations for the Green River Lithium Project, indicating the potential for substantial mineral resource growth. The geological characteristics of the Green River Lithium Project area also suggest favorable conditions for extraction, comparable to our core asset, the Paradox Lithium Project. We are optimistic about the prospects for the Project and look forward to further exploration and development activities.
