Exploration Report on La Cristina Copper-Gold Prospect

Antilles Gold Limited (ASX: $AAU) has received a report on the geology and mineralization of the La Cristina copper-gold prospect within the Sierra Maestra copper belt in south east Cuba. The report, prepared by the Company's Exploration Director, Dr Christian Grainger, and Colombian consulting geologist, Riccardo Sierra, summarizes the results of prospecting activities carried out between July and November 2023. The La Cristina concession is held in an Exploration Agreement as are two other concessions in the same region with the three properties totaling 53,710ha.

Chairman's Perspective on Exploration Campaign

Mr Brian Johnson, Chairman of Antilles Gold, stated that the Company intends to undertake the low-cost prospecting campaign recommended by Dr Grainger as soon as practicable, provided it does not impact on resources required for the near-term development of the Nueva Sabana gold-copper mine.

Geological Potential and Future Prospects

The report highlights the excellent exploration potential of the La Cristina project for the discovery of both porphyry copper-gold and high-sulphidation gold-copper deposits. The identification of a major E-W structural corridor between the Borbon and Arabica prospects indicates the presence of a potentially large porphyry system at depth. The Company plans to undertake detailed exploration activities including soil sampling, stream sediment sampling, LIDAR survey, and additional geological mapping to efficiently sample large areas and define the additional potential of the larger project area. Antilles Gold's strategy to participate in the development of previously explored gold, silver, and copper deposits in mineral-rich Cuba positions it at the forefront of the emerging mining sector in the country. The Company's joint venture with the Cuban Government's mining company, GeoMinera SA, is expected to lead to the development of several projects, including the Nueva Sabana gold-copper mine and the La Demajagua open pit mine. Antilles Gold aims to invest part of the expected surplus cash flow from early mine developments to fund exploration of major copper targets within the Sierra Maestra copper belt in south east Cuba.
