Arizona Lithium Limited (ASX: $AZL) has received approval from the US Bureau of Land Management (BLM) for exploration drilling at the Big Sandy Lithium Project in Arizona, USA. The drilling, expected to commence in late-July 2024, will be managed by the Navajo Transitional Energy Company (NTEC) under the Mining Services Agreement entered into with AZL in March 2024.
We are very pleased to obtain drilling approval from the BLM for the Big Sandy project. Plans are well advanced to commence drilling later in July and the taking of a bulk sample of Big Sandy ore for processing at the Lithium Research Centre in Tempe, Arizona. This is a very exciting step for the Company and would like to thank all the AZL team for their professional determination demonstrated throughout the process and the thorough and respectful engagement of all stakeholders. The drilling program, managed by NTEC under the Mining Services Agreement, is set to commence in late-July 2024.
