Astral Resources (ASX:AAR) has released impressive high-grade gold intercept results from its drilling program at the Kamperman Prospect, part of the Feysville Gold Project in Western Australia. The standout result is a spectacular zone of 3 metres at 177g/t gold from 74 metres within a broader 25 metres at 24.3g/t gold from 68 metres. These results were obtained from a reverse circulation drilling program aimed at expanding mineralisation knowledge at Kamperman.
Astral Resources has made significant progress in its exploration at the Kamperman Prospect, part of the Feysville Gold Project. The drilling program revealed a high-grade gold zone, enhancing the project's potential. The company plans further reverse circulation and diamond drilling to expand and better delineate the mineralisation. Located in a region known for its rich gold deposits, Feysville hosts a Mineral Resource Estimate of 3 million tonnes at 1.3g/t gold for 116,000 ounces. Future plans include continued exploration at multiple sites, including Mandilla, with an updated Mineral Resource Estimate anticipated by March 2025. These efforts align with Astral's strategy to unlock high-grade opportunities and expand its resource base.
Managing Director Marc Ducler highlighted the potential of Kamperman, noting the high-grade opportunities still to be unlocked and the need for further exploration to understand the structural controls.
