Auric Mining Limited (ASX: $AWJ) has successfully completed a small RC drilling program at the Fugitive Prospect, Spargoville Project, Western Australia. The program has revealed significant gold mineralisation and the potential for further drilling to explore the area's prospects.
Mr. Mark English, Managing Director of Auric Mining Limited, expressed optimism about the results, stating, 'The Fugitive Prospect is midway between two prominent, high-grade gold deposits; Wattle Dam and Spargos Reward at Spargoville. Our first-pass drilling has highlighted similarities with both deposits. We're looking forward to the next phase when we will get the opportunity to test that model.' Mr. John Utley, Technical Director, also added, 'Historic drilling has outlined a zone of supergene gold mineralisation at Fugitive. It's an enticing drill target, over almost 700 metres of strike length.'
The RC drilling program at the Fugitive Prospect has uncovered significant gold mineralisation, indicating the area's high prospectivity. The results have led to a geological reinterpretation, revealing similarities with prominent gold deposits in the vicinity. The mineralised zone represents a highly prospective target for further drilling, with potential to host a substantial gold deposit. Auric Mining plans to conduct aircore drilling and further RC drilling to explore the area's prospects and target the mineralised zone in fresh rock approximately 75 to 100m below the surface. The company's management is optimistic about the next phase and the opportunity to test the model further.
