Auric Mining (ASX:AWJ) has announced its agreement to acquire the Burbanks Gold Processing Facility near Coolgardie, WA, for AUD $4.4 million. This move, subject to due diligence, aims to boost its gold production capacity. Settlement is expected by March 15, 2025.
Auric Mining's conditional agreement to acquire the Burbanks Gold Processing Facility is a strategic move to enhance its production capabilities. Located near Coolgardie, the facility's 180,000-tonne annual processing capacity and existing infrastructure make it a valuable asset. The acquisition, priced at AUD $4.4 million, is set to be completed by March 2025, pending due diligence. Auric aims to refurbish the plant, optimize operations, and increase capacity, positioning itself as a fully integrated gold producer in the WA Goldfields. The company has exclusive rights to conduct comprehensive reviews until February 2025. This acquisition is expected to enable Auric to control its production cycle and reduce reliance on third-party processing, aligning with its growth and value creation goals.
Managing Director Mark English emphasized the strategic value of acquiring quality assets at competitive prices and outlined plans for future growth and value creation.
