Aurum Resources has reported robust metallurgical testwork results at its Boundiali Gold Project, indicating high gold recoveries and efficient processing capabilities. The company plans to continue extensive drilling in 2024 with the goal of completing a Mineral Resource Estimate by the end of the year. The unconditional takeover of Mako Gold is set to enhance Aurum's exploration and development potential in West Africa. Aurum's strategy includes further exploration, drilling, and the integration of Mako Gold to create a stronger entity focused on gold exploration in the region.
The metallurgical testwork results demonstrate the potential for high gold recoveries at Boundiali, which is encouraging for the development of this project. We are particularly pleased with the suitability of the ore for a single-stage SAG mill circuit, as well as the significant gravity-recoverable gold and fast leaching kinetics.
