AusQuest Limited (ASX:AQD) has started drilling at the Latham Prospect within the Moora Nickel-Copper-PGE Project in Western Australia. This program aims to explore significant nickel, copper, and platinum group element mineralization. The drilling is part of a Strategic Alliance Agreement with South32 Limited.
AusQuest Limited has commenced a drilling program at the Latham Prospect to explore for nickel, copper, and PGE mineralization. The operation involves two RC drill holes totaling around 500 meters, expected to be completed within a week. The results are anticipated in January 2025. The Latham Intrusion, identified as a large mafic intrusion, is believed to host ultramafic rocks with significant mineralization potential. The project is funded through a Strategic Alliance Agreement with South32 Limited. AusQuest's Managing Director, Graeme Drew, has shown enthusiasm for the project's potential and its strategic importance. This initiative is part of AusQuest's broader exploration goals both in Western Australia and internationally.
We are excited about the potential for discovering significant Ni-Cu-PGE mineralization at Latham Intrusion. This project is strategically important alongside our other exploration activities, such as the Cangallo Copper Porphyry Project in Peru.
