AusQuest (ASX:AQD) has confirmed multiple priority drill targets at its Balladonia Project located in the Fraser Range, Western Australia. The targets were identified through ground electromagnetic surveys. Drilling is set to begin in early 2025 after obtaining necessary approvals, supported by South32.
AusQuest has identified key drill targets at the Balladonia Project, with surveys suggesting potential for massive sulphide mineralization. The project, located 135 km ESE of Norseman, includes strong bedrock conductors. The drilling program, aimed at testing these conductors for base metals, is supported by a Strategic Alliance Agreement with a South32 subsidiary. AusQuest plans to start drilling in early 2025, contingent upon receiving necessary approvals. The company's exploration strategy focuses on copper and nickel sulphides and base metal mineralization. The project area is under a strategic agreement allowing South32 to earn a majority interest by investing US$4.5M, aligning with AusQuest's exploration goals.
We are optimistic about the Balladonia Project, with the confirmation of compelling targets indicating potential for a new base metal discovery.
