Ballymore Resources (ASX: $BMR) has reported significant high-grade gold intersections from the first five holes of the Stage 4 underground drilling program at the Dittmer mine. The program, currently 75% complete, has confirmed the continuity and exceptional grades of the Duffer Lode structure, with all holes to date intersecting gold mineralisation. The company's Technical Director, Mr David A-Izzeddin, expressed confidence in the quality of the Duffer Lode and highlighted the potential for a significant gold and copper system at the Dittmer project.
These are outstanding drill results that give us great confidence in the quality of the Duffer Lode. Stage 4 was designed to infill previous drilling to confirm the lode's continuity and exceptional grades, and it has delivered. The lode remains open at depth, and the Company is preparing to undertake the next exciting phase to determine the lateral extent of this exciting discovery. Our upcoming step-out drilling program will be the first major surface drilling program completed at Dittmer and will test the significant potential for strike extensions to the old mine area, as demonstrated by the large geochemical footprint and presence of high-grade historic surface workings over more than 2km, which have never been drilled previously. Ballymore is well-funded and has a busy year ahead, testing the Dittmer project as well as our other exciting projects. These new drill results continue to demonstrate the potential for the Dittmer project to host a significant gold and copper system.
