Bastion Minerals (ASX:BMO) has reported exceptional initial resampling results from its ICE Copper Project located in the Yukon Territory, Canada. The assays revealed high-grade copper, gold, silver, and cobalt mineralization, with significant intersections such as 10.98 meters at 7.15% copper. The company is focused on converting the historical non-JORC resource estimate to a JORC-compliant estimate by early Q1 2025.
Bastion Minerals (ASX:BMO) has announced promising initial assay results from its ICE Copper Project in the Yukon Territory, confirming high-grade copper, gold, silver, and cobalt mineralization. The project, identified as a Cyprus-style Volcanic Hosted Massive Sulphide (VHMS) deposit, has seen intersections such as 5.31 meters at 9.88% copper. The company is actively working to convert the historical, foreign, non-JORC resource estimate to a JORC-compliant estimate by early 2025. With only 15% of the project area explored, there is significant potential for further discoveries. Bastion plans to continue resampling and geological modeling to enhance the project's resource definition and explore additional targets.
The initial assay results confirm the presence of high-grade copper, gold, silver, and cobalt mineralization,' stated the announcement. 'These results align with historical data and underscore the potential of the ICE Copper Project as a significant VHMS deposit.
