Belararox Ltd (ASX: $BRX) has announced the receipt of assay results for the rock chip and talus samples collected from Toro North, Central, and South targets at the Company's Toro-Malambo-Tambo (TMT) Project in Argentina. The highest rock values returned indicate 1.41% Cu, 2.49ppm Au, 484ppm Ag, 427ppm Mo, 20.9% Zn, and > 20.0% Pb, exceeding the maximum detection limit. The interpretations suggest significant epithermal/porphyry discovery potential, with geochemical zoning characteristics indicating diverse mineralization types.
Jason Ward, Exploration Director - Argentina, commented, 'These assay results confirm our geological observations that we are in the epithermal environment at Toro Central and South, and deeper, in the high levels of a porphyry system in Toro North. Fieldwork continues at Tambo Sur, after which we will re-rank our projects in order to plan our upcoming drilling program.' Managing Director, Arvind Misra, added, 'Promising assay results from Toro North, Central, and South targets highlight rich mineralization potential with significant Cu, Au, and Ag values. Geochemical zoning indicates diverse mineralization types, enhancing our project insights. Supported by pathfinder elements, these results signify significant epithermal/porphyry discovery potential.'
The assay results from Toro North, Central, and South targets at the TMT Project in Argentina indicate promising mineralization potential with significant Cu, Au, and Ag values. The interpretations based on geochemical zoning characteristics suggest diverse mineralization types, enhancing the project insights. The Company plans to analyze and interpret geochemical findings concerning the Malambo target, conduct a comprehensive 3D geochemical analysis of results from various projects, and finalize the selection process for drilling contractors. Additionally, the completion of environmental baseline assessments and the revision of Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs) for drilling permits are anticipated in the coming months. Belararox aims to reopen the site around September and engage contractors for various project-related activities.
