Brightstar Resources Limited (ASX: $BTR) has announced the commencement of a significant reverse circulation (RC) and diamond drilling (DD) program across its enlarged 1.45Moz Brightstar & Linden Gold portfolio. The program aims to target gold mineralisation within known pit shells and underground designs outlined within Brightstar's Scoping Studies.
This drilling program is the start of an aggressive exploration campaign by Brightstar, including deposits within the recently announced Linden Gold merger. Beyond the initial RC campaign at Menzies, the drill rigs will then head to Brightstar's Laverton Hub with the view to complete diamond and reverse circulation drilling programs across the enlarged Brightstar portfolio. We expect these holes to deliver valuable information for geological, mine planning, geotechnical and metallurgical purposes ahead of the combined pre-feasibility study to be released by the end of the year. We're also targeting greenfields exploration growth at the St Francis and Delta 2 prospects within the Menzies and Laverton Gold Projects respectively, with both highly compelling targets identified for drill testing.
Brightstar Resources Limited (ASX: $BTR) has initiated a substantial drilling program aimed at targeting gold mineralisation within its portfolio. The program includes RC and DD drilling at Menzies, Laverton, and Linden Gold's Second Fortune and Jasper Hills Gold Projects. The company aims to increase the geological confidence of the Lady Shenton System, conduct surface & underground diamond drilling at Second Fortune, and bolster its technical team with key appointments to geological leadership roles. The program is part of an aggressive exploration campaign to explore and build on the existing 1.45Moz resource base in the Eastern Goldfields of WA. Brightstar's strategy is to explore and develop its mineral resource inventory in the Tier-1 gold district of the Eastern Goldfields with the view to becoming a substantial ASX gold producer.
