Cobre Limited requests trading halt
Cobre Limited (ASX:CBE) has requested a trading halt from the ASX effective immediately. The halt is pending the release of an announcement regarding a material transaction involving some of the Company's projects in the Kalahari Copper Belt in Botswana. The trading halt will remain in place until the announcement is released or the commencement of trading on Tuesday, 24 September 2024.
Executive Commentary
The Company is not aware of any reason as to why the trading halt should not be granted or any further information required to be disclosed to the market regarding the trading halt. This Trading Halt Request has been authorised on behalf of the Cobre Board by: Martin C Holland, Executive Chairman.
Summary of Trading Halt Request
Cobre Limited has requested a trading halt from the ASX in anticipation of an announcement related to a material transaction involving its projects in the Kalahari Copper Belt in Botswana. The halt will be in place until the announcement is released or the commencement of trading on Tuesday, 24 September 2024.
