CuFe (ASX:CUF) Trading Halt Request
CuFe Ltd (ASX:CUF) has requested a trading halt effective from the commencement of trading on Thursday 10 October 2024. The halt is in relation to the company holding a shareholder meeting at 2:00pm (AWST) on Thursday 10 October 2024 to consider the disposal of its main undertaking, a transaction to which Listing Rule 11.2 applies. The company anticipates that the trading halt will continue until the conclusion of the shareholder meeting and the release of an announcement regarding the meeting results.
Executive Commentary
The company has requested the trading halt in accordance with the requirements of paragraph 5.4 of Guidance Note 12. This is to facilitate the shareholder meeting to consider the disposal of our main undertaking. We anticipate the trading halt to be lifted after the conclusion of the meeting and the release of an announcement regarding the meeting results.
