Dalaroo Metals Ltd (ASX: $DAL) has commenced a deep diamond drilling program at its Browns prospect, Lyons River Project, located in the Gascoyne Province of Western Australia. The program aims to test a very significant 3km X 2km size Pb-Zn-Ag + Cu, Broken Hill type zone, partly funded by the Exploration Incentive Scheme grant of $180,000 awarded to Dalaroo in 2023. The diamond drill program is expected to be completed by the end of May 2024, with assay results anticipated during the September 2024 quarter.
Dalaroo Managing Director Harjinder Kehal expressed optimism about the ongoing diamond drilling program at Browns prospect, emphasizing its potential for discovering a new economic Broken Hill Type deposit in the Gascoyne Province. Kehal highlighted the program's role in enhancing the company's understanding of the structural features controlling BHT mineralization at Browns, situated within a Proterozoic age large basin setting of 30km by 10km within the Lyons River Project.
